Ramnath Kovind has won the Presidential elections 2017 and will be the 14th President of Rebublic India. It was formality as this results were already anticipated much before the first ballot was cast. Ramnath has secured two-thirds of the majority of the votes in the Presidential elections. Ramnath will take the oath on 25th of this month as a President. PM Narendra Modi congratulated for the success of Ramnath.
The counting of these votes took place at morning 11 AM and the Ramnath has in the majority from the very beginning. He had secured a huge majority of 3 lakh before the final votes are counted.As per the latest reports arrived Ramnath Kovind has secured 4,79,585 votes whereas his counterpart Meira got only 2,04,594.
Ramnath Kovind was a former Governor of Bihar government and now he was in the ruling party government. Many political officials tweeted on the success of Ramnath.

Vice Presidential candidate Venkaiah Naidu tweeted: “Hearty felicitations to Shri RamnathKovind ji on his election as President of India with a huge majority.”
